ISLA ALEJANDRO
COACH
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
My approach to health and fitness starts with understanding your body - because you only get one and it’s got to last you the rest of your life. I work with clients to build strength, confidence, and healthy habits that are genuinely sustainable, not just for a few weeks, but for life.
I don’t believe in ‘leaving life at the door’ - your training should fit around your lifestyle, stress, and schedule - but I also don’t believe in shortcuts. With good communication, consistency, and a clear plan, I’ll bring the energy and keep you moving forward every session.
My goal as a coach is to create an empowering space for women to train. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, especially when working with the nuances of the female body, and I love helping clients feel supported, capable, and confident every time they walk onto the gym floor. I will teach them to work with their body and cycle, not against it.

Right now, my focus is to deepen my knowledge of biomechanics so I can coach with more precision, from joint mechanics and range-of-motion assessments to bracing, alignment, and load management tailored to each client’s structure and movement patterns.

I’M IN TO:
Rugby is my main focus outside of the gym. I'm proud to be playing for Kowloon Rugby Club and value every moment on the pitch with my new teammates. Having recently moved to Hong Kong, I'm enjoying everything this new chapter has to offer, discovering any new music and films.
I’M NOT A FAN OF:
Overtraining mindsets! You shouldn’t need to feel exhausted all the time to think you’re making progress.
